Musjid Renovations

Musjidul Huda was built in 2000, the first and, to date, Musjid in an area of over 200 Muslim families. The Musjid caters for the local population as well as a sizeable Somali refugee population.
Due to being situated in a business cum residential area, the Musjid sees big crowds for all Salaah and especially the Juma and Eid Salaahs. The current prayer area cannot hold the entire Juma crowd, and the original toilet and Wudhu facilities cannot cope with the regular Salaah crowds especially Zuhr and Juma. The parking area is also very small.
To cope with these challenges, the Musjid has embarked on a renovation process. The house next door was purchased, and the parking plot and the plot next to the new house were donated to the Musjid. New Wudhu facilities have already been built, along with new toilets, shower and temporary extra Salaah area.
We still require funds for a minaret, Muazzin's facilities, Madrasah classes, permanent extra Salaah area, a parking area and ladies' facilities especially for Muslim travellers who frequent the area from out of town.
You can help in building the House of Allah by donating funds for the renovations. Direct deposits can be made into our bank account (details in the side bar).
